I had a chance to visit Boulder, Colorado for a beautiful wedding last weekend. The day before the wedding, Ke and I flew into Denver and drove to Boulder by taking the scenic Peak to Peak highway.
Once we made it to Boulder, we checked into an Airbnb and explored Pearl Street Mall, followed by a pre wedding barbecue! I instantly fell in love with Boulder and the surrounding scenery.
After sleeping off a bad case of altitude sickness, I awoke early to attend Ke’s stepbrother’s wedding. It was just lovely. It was an intimate outdoor ceremony followed by a reception at Hotel Boulderado. I was so honored to be invited to such an intimate family affair. I got to meet Ke’s step family and longtime family friends.
During the break between the reception and cocktail celebration, we went on a scenic tour in the park and mountains (where I made Ke play personal photographer). Afterwards we changed and went to the cocktail party :D.
I fell in love with Boulder that weekend and can’t wait to visit again. It has definitely been added to my list of top cities and who knows, I could possibly see myself living there one day.
